CNC Programmer

What You'll Do:

\n
• Analyze specifications : Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds.
\n
• Program CNC machines : Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
\n
• CNC setup & calibration : Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production.
\n
• Trial runs & adjustments : Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
\n
• Safety & cleanliness : Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\n
• Cross-departmental support : Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.
\n

What You'll Bring:

\n
• Education : High School Diploma or GED.
\n
• Experience : At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills.
\n
• CAM software : Experience with CAM software preferred.
\n
• Technical knowledge : Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
\n
• Mathematics & communication : Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
\n
• Problem-solving & teamwork : Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
\n
• Physical requirements : Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
\n
• Work ethic : Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards.
\n

Your Schedule:

\n
• 2nd Shift : Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, 30 min lunch, 2, 15 minute breaks
\n
